The club was founded by Delores "Dee" Battle, the youngest of six sisters and one brother. The sisters often did things together like traveling, get together to one another house and hang out and loved on one another. They are very close sisters and anyone can't break their sisterly bond. 

One day, God gave Dee a vision to do something about the sisterly love they all have for one another and since the sisters often are together and do things together, she went into planning and came up with the ideal to start and form an informal social club. The purpose of this club to Dee is for her and the sisters to socialize within the community and meet new friends and share their sisterly love to others who doesn't have a sister or isn't close to their sister. 

She called the sisters and told them about the vision that God gave her, they liked and agreed with her so they all decided to name the club their family name "The Battle's Social Club" On February 4, 2011, the Battle's Social Club became official. 

The Battle Sisters are:

Dee Battle, Emma Battle Wearrien, Ellen Edmonds, Shirley Battle, Doris Battle Banks (Not Pictured), Gloria Battle, Willa Battle Hicks (They lost her in 2014 in a car accident)

Ty'Ajia Battle is the niece of the sisters & daughter of Dee Battle, Basil Battle is the cousin of the sisters, Patricia Dupree is the friend of the sisters

We're not just sisters  by blood but we are also sisters by heart. We always enjoy one another and have fun at the same time
